asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how much has been paid to his Department on account of national insurance contributions to the National Health Service for each week since 1 February.

Due to industrial action interdepartmental transfer payments in respect of national insurance contributions in Great Britain have been temporarily suspended. Expenditure on the National Health Service has not been affected.
