§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is now satisfied with the response of the Cumnock and Doon Valley district council to his request for an explanation of its budget; and if he has now decided not to lay an order before the House in respect of the plannod revenue expenditure of that district council in the current parliamentary Session.
§ Mr. YoungerI do not propose to lay a report proposing reduction in grant payable to this authority. Discussions about its revised expenditure plans are in prospect.
