§ Mr. Mark CarlisleThe Government's expenditure plans—Cmnd. 8175—as embodied in the 1981–82 RSG settlement, allow for recurrent expenditure per pupil in cash, including an apportionment of relevant overheads, in England in 1981–82 of about £745 for maintained primary and £1,070 for maintained secondary schools, or about £905 for both primary or secondary schools.
