§ Mr. ChannonMy Ministerial responsibility covers only museum; and galleries, on which the proposed expenditure for 1980–81 was £36.4 million—at November 1979 prices. Local authority expenditure on other cultural activities, including theatres, concerts and so on was £42.4 million.
