§ Mr. WhitelawThe commissioner is fully involved in the follow-up to the conclusions of the examination of police arrangements for handling spontaneous public disorder which I had published on 6 August 1980 and with the working group on protective clothing and equipment for the police that I appointed on 1 May this year.
