§ Mr. GoodhartThe pay of junior Service personnel may vary considerably according to circumstances, and full details of the rates payable in particular cases are contained in the tenth report of the Review Body on Armed Forces Pay—Cmnd. 8241. The following table gives the minimum annual rates payable to regular personnel aged 18 and under, both gross and net of income lax and ERNIC. Personnel receiving less than the minimum adult rate of pay—£76.23 per week-are charged £11.69 a week for food and £2.80 a week for accomodation when living in barracks.
