asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what procedures are adopted by his Department for the registration of foreign nationals employed on oil rigs working on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf; and whether these are the same as those operated in 1979.

The Immigration Act 1971 does not extend to such installations.
