§ Dr. VaughanInformation about the number of registered unemployed persons seeking work as medical practitioners is collected by the Department of Employment. The present total is the equivalent of about 0.6 per cent. of all registered medical practitioners in Great Britain. The Department has asked the Department of Employment whether more detailed information could be made available, and I shall write to the hon. Member if this is so.
