§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he has studied the several reports from the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments expressing concern regarding the lack of specific qualifications provided on warrants carried by inspectors of the Health and Safety Inspectorate; and whether he will instruct the Health and Safety Commission as the enforcing authority to provide new warrants conforming to section 19 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
