§ Mr. EyreThe airline's productivity and manning levels are a matter for the British Airways Board and I see no reason to undermine that responsibility by setting up an inquiry. The board has demonstrated its determination to ensure that productivity continues to be improved so that British Airways can compete successfully and profitably in a difficult international market.
