HC Deb 13 January 1981 vol 996 c517W
Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if the statement of the Minister of State at Question Time on 16 December 1980, Official Report, column 196, regarding the number of people at work who are covered by employers sick pay arrangements was based on detailed or sample information; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Rossi

The figures used by my right hon. Friend the Member for Daventry (Mr. Prentice), the former Minister for Social Security and Disablement, were taken from the "Report on a Survey of Occupational Sick-Pay Schemes" published by the Department in 1977. A copy of the report is in the Library.
