§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a study of the difficulties encountered by the courts in enforcing fines on companies; and if he will bring forward proposals to change the law to enable such fines to be better enforced.
§ Mr. MayhewWe have under consideration a study on the enforcement of all fines. I cannot yet say what form it will take. We have no plans for legislation at present.
