§ Mr. Peter ReesWhilst there are no plans for integrating the stamp duty functions of the Inland Revenue with the Land Registry, there have already been discussions about the possibility of streamlining the collection of stamp duty on registered land transfers. No suitable scheme has emerged so far but it is intended to return to the matter in the future.
