Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why he will not cause an investigation to be made to ascertain how and why prisoner 378W Charles Richardson was able to frequent openly his former known haunts and meet former policemen, and so on, whilst escaped from prison.
§ Mr. RaisonEvery effort was made to find Mr. Richardson while he was at large and these efforts were ultimately successful. We are not aware of any reason why an investigation should be held.
