§ 20. Mr. John MacKayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the report of the committee of inquiry into local government in Scotland.
§ Mr. RifkindMy right hon. Friend is giving careful consideration to the many recommendations in the report and will inform the House of his conclusions. Any person or organisation wishing to offer comments on the report should submit them no later than 31 March 1981.
