§ Mr. Peter MorrisonAt October 1981, the latest date for which the quarterly age analysis is available, 28,045 people were registered as unemployed in North-East Lancashire and of these 2,259 were under 18 years of age. The corresponding figures at October 1979 were 9,532 and 814, respectively.
