§ Mr. RifkindThe chief constable's attention was drawn to this matter when the hon. Member raised it on 24 June 1980 but there have been no consultations. The policing of this area is a matter for the Chief Constable and it is for him to determine what measures should be employed on this task.—[Vol. 987, c.103.]
