§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will raise in the United Nations Security Council the possibility of some form of United Nations assistance to tiny countries, especially islands, threatened or attacked by foreign mercenaries with the connivance of other States.
§ Mr. LuceIt is always open to any member State of the United Nations to bring to the attention of the Security Council any situation affecting its interests which endangers the maintenance of international peace and security. We would not normally consider it necessary or appropriate to seek to do so on another State's behalf.
