Whether military equipment has been sent to the Republic of South Africa from Britain since the UN Security Council embargo came into force, on the grounds that licence agreements had been signed previously, and whether in future they will revoke such agreements.
Viscount LongNo export licences have been granted for the supply of arms to South Africa, either under new or existing contracts, since the UN mandatory arms embargo came into force.
