HC Deb 28 October 1980 vol 991 c229W
Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what further consideration he has given to the use of low vision aids for the partially-sighted since his reply on the subject to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Maryhill, earlier this year.

Mr. Fairgrieve

As stated in my reply of 11 February to the hon. Member, it is for the consultants concerned to decide which visual aids would best assist partially-sighted people to become more self-reliant, and for the health boards to supply these.—[Vol. 978, c. 407–8.]
