Mr. Faulds

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will study the report by the Consumers' Association on

the performance of travel agents, with a view to referring the area to the Director General of Fair Trading.

I understand that the director general has seen this report. No doubt he will take it into account during his discussions with the Association of British Travel Agents.
