§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what plans he has to improve the poor standard of television reception in the Tanat Valley area of the county of Clwyd.
§ Mr. Brittan:The development of the television transmitter network is primarily the responsibility of the broadcasting authorities. I understand that a new UHF television relay station is planned near the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant to supplement the existing television coverage of the Tanat Valley area. The broadcasting authorities hope to bring the station into operation during 1982.
