HC Deb 27 October 1980 vol 991 c31W
24. Mr. Deakins

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what consideration he has given to improving trading arrangements to facilitate the supply of British manufactured goods where there are long waiting periods for delivery overseas.

Mr. Eyre:

It is up to British suppliers to make the necessary arrangements to see that they meet whatever delivery requirements are laid down in contracts and the great majority of British suppliers succeed in this.
