asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many persons are currently being supported by the temporary short-term working scheme in the Keighley travel-to-work area.

[pursuant to his reply, 8 August 1980, c. 412]: In the Keighley travel-to-work area there are currently 431 jobs at risk being supported under the temporary short-time working compensation (TSTWC) scheme, and 1,155 employees working short time to cover the redundancies.
