I have met the chairman of the BBC on a number of occasions recently and BBC finance has been among the matters discussed.

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he next proposes to meet the chairman of the British Broadcasting Corporation to discuss the financing of the corporation.

I meet the chairman of the BBC regularly, but I have no immediate plans for a meeting. My officials remain in contact with the BBC about its finance.
