§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Lord Privy Seal if Her Majesty's Government in concert with the Group of Five States on Namibia will make representations to the South African Government against the sentence of death passed on the Namibian Markus Kateka, imposed by the illegal administration in Namibia.
§ Mr. HurdLegal proceedings are continuing. Mr. Kateka's lawyer is preparing an application to the Chief Justice for leave to appeal. We will consider302W making our views known to the South African Government at an appropriate moment.
