§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThere are no plans to close the M1 in the Watford area. At junction 5 north of Watford, single lanes may be closed at night during the next two months to facilitate preliminary works on the M1 widening scheme. These 459W works have been carefully planned to minimise traffic disruption.
