§ Mr. Jim LesterA large proportion of the allocations made to the United Kingdom from the European social fund are in respect of schemes which operate nationally or in a number of parts of the country. It is therefore not possible to give information about total fund aid for schemes in particular areas or regions.
No scheme operating exclusively in the West Midlands has received an allocation in the second batch of allocations from the fund to the United Kingdom in 1980.
