HC Deb 13 November 1980 vol 992 c396W
Mr. Wm. Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many males and females have been discharged from (a) the Royal Navy, (b) the Regular Army, (c) the Ulster Defence Regiment, and (d) the Royal Air Force in this year to date and in 1979, because of a technicality in the enlistment process; if the persons so discharged can now re-enlist in correct form; and of the persons so discharged how many had home addresses in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, respectively.

Mr. Hayhoe

Records are not held centrally, and I regret that the information requested cannot be collected without disproportionate effort.
