§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimMedical experts in the Department of Health and Social Security are considering whether there is any basis to reports of a link between the use of internal sanitary protection tampons, whether or not containing cellulose, and toxic shock. Until their inquiries are complete it would be premature to contemplate restricting the sale of these goods.
