§ 30. Mr. Dykesasked the Secretary of State for Employment when he expects next to meet representatives of the Trades Union Congress and affiliated unions to discuss the Employment Act 1980 and the code of conduct on picketing procedures.
§ Mr. MayhewI have had a number of discussions over the last 12 months with representatives of the Trades Union Congress on the provisions in the Employment Act 1980 and the codes of practice on picketing and the closed shop. I remain ready to meet them at any time.
