Mr. Watson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many oral appeals against appointments of general practitioner vacancies since the Health Services Act 1946 have resulted in success for the appellant;

(2) since the National Health Service Act 1946, how many single-handed vacancies for general practices have been the subject of appeal;

(3) since the National Health Service Act 1946 how many appeals against appointments to general practitioner vacancies have been heard orally.
