§ Mr. Alison[pursuant to his reply, 17 March 1980 c. 60]: The figures for persons killed in 1969 and 1970 should read:
Persons killed 1969 6 1970 20 The total number of persons killed up to 13 March is therefore 1,814.
The total amount of compensation paid in respect of criminal damage to property (£309,400,000) was for the period 1 October 1968 to 2 February 1980.
