§ Mr. Giles Shaw[pursuant to his reply, 17 March 1980, c. 60]: There are 34 manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland which are wholly or partly owned by United States corporations. The approximate value of these investments, undertaken or committed, is £530 million. I understand that there are about 3,000 United States citizens resident in the Province.
