Mr. Prescott

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what total tonnage of fish, frozen and fresh, was landed in the Albert dock in the port of Hull for each year since 1973; what proportion was foreign landings; and what was the total value of landings.

Mr. Buchanan-Smith

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has paid grant of £367,567 towards the conversion of the Albert and William Wright dock, Hull. In addition, the British Transport Docks Board has been awarded grants
