§ Mr. BrittanThe current strength of the Metropolitan Police traffic warden service is 1,066. Traffic warden areas are not coterminous with London boroughs, and I understand that in most cases the numbers employed in individual boroughs could not readily be identified separately. The deployment of wardens is a matter for the Commissioner.
