Mr. Wheeler

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects to publish the results of the comparability study in respect of the AP and T grades in local government.

Mr. Brittan

The comparability study is being conducted by the National Joint Council for Administrative, Professional and Clerical Services. The question of publication will be for the council to decide.
