Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Minister of Transport (1) if he will carry out a full survey to discover how many local authorities provide free bus passes for retirement pensioners, how many do not provide such a facility and how many have modified schemes; and if he will publish the results of his survey;

(2) if he will carry out a full survey to discover how many local authorities provide free bus passes for disabled people, how many do not provide such a facility, and how many have modified schemes; and if he will publish the result of his survey.
