§ 22. Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he intends to announce the full cost of the revised assisted places scheme.
§ Dr. BoysonAfter its introduction in September 1981 the cost of the assisted places scheme will rise from about £3162W million in the financial year 1981–82 to about £12 million in 1983–84. The full cost thereafter will be decided in the light of the development of the scheme initially and the availability of resources, and will be up to £55 million.
