Rossasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many firms in the clothing industry in Northern Ireland are receiving the short-time working subsidy; and what are the numbers of male and female workers in respect of which the subsidy has been paid for each month, or if more convenient, each quarter from 1 July 1979 to the latest available date.
§ Mr. RossiThirty-eight firms in the clothing industry are currently receiving assistance under the Northern Ireland temporary short-time working compensation scheme.
