§ Mr. Churchillasked the Lord Privy Seal what requests Her Majesty's Government have received for the supply of defensive weaponry to the Somali Democratic Republic; and if he will now give favourable consideration to any such requests in the light of the continued expansionist build-up in the Horn of Africa by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and its allies.
§ Mr. LuceHer Majesty's Government have received a number of applications from British manufacturers for the supply of licensable equipment to Somalia. These applications are considered in accordance with the standard criteria.
