§ Mr. HurdTwenty-four United Kingdom citizens were arrested in Saudi Arabia during the first quarter of 1980. Fourteen have been arrested since the end of March. The offences involved include traffic offences, alcohol and drug-related charges, fraud, forgery, theft, assault and murder.

§ Mr. HurdA number of hon. Members and other members of the public have raised consular cases with us, which we are pursuing; but there have been no complaints of harassment as such.
