§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will investigate the possibility of delinquent children being put into care with other families rather than in residential homes.
§ Sir George YoungThe placement of juveniles who are made subject to a care order following the commission of a criminal offence is a matter for local authorities. An increasing number of local authorities are making special arrangements to enable these juveniles, where circumstances are appropriate, to be boarded out with families. I welcome this.
