Mr. Heddle

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the representative bodies, trade associations and professional bodies in, and connected with, the construction industry which have made written representations to him since June 1979.

Mr. Heseltine

I have received written representations from many bodies in, or connected with, the construction industry on a wide range of issues during the period in question, but the volume of correspondence received by my Department is so great that a list of the kind requested could not be produced except at disproportionate cost.
