§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithCereals production in the United Kingdom has been rising in recent years mainly as a result of improved yields. Given the increases in support prices for cereals agreed as part of the recent settlement of Community agricultural prices for 1980–81, our producers should be able to maintain that trend despite higher costs.
