§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he has received any applications from the Hertfordshire education authority, under section 15 of the Education Act 1980, for approval of a reduction of more than one-fifth in the intake of a school; and whether he has approved any such applications.
§ Dr. BoysonNo. These provisions do not come into force until 1 August 1980 and will not affect restrictions of admission before the school year 1981–82.
