§ Sir Geoffrey HoweThere are clear attractions to the idea of an occasional, separate, autumn Finance Bill. There are, of course, great pressures on parliamentary time for legislation, but I hope that a technical autumn Finance Bill can be regarded as a realistic possibility later during the present Parliament.
