asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will consider launching a public campaign in schools to point out to schoolchildren the dangers of glue sniffling.

No. As I indicated in reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Brigg and Scunthorpe (Mr. Brown) on 7 May, I believe that this matter is best left to local action by teachers and others in positions of responsibility.—[Vol. 984, c. 125.]
