§ Dr. BoysonEvidence from the Department's review of local authority curricular arrangements and from Her Majesty inspectors' survey of secondary education, both published last year, indicated a variety of approaches towards curricular provision within the maintained sector. No comparable studies have been undertaken by the Department or Inspectorate of provision in non-maintained secondary schools.
