§ Mr. Wrigglesworthasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he intends to contract out cleaning services at Ministry of Defence offices in Devizes, Harrogate and Worcester; and if he will list other Ministry of Defence establishments where such a change is being made or considered.
§ Mr. HayhoeWe are at present examining the practicability and relative costs of changing to contract cleaning at certain establishments. At Harrogate and Worcester, the reviews have just been completed and tenders have shown that contract cleaning will be significantly cheaper. We therefore intend to let contracts. The review at Devizes is still in progress.
